News Updates 2011

January:

January has found me busy ghost writing a novel.  I’m on a tight deadline – it’s due in early March – so I’m having to be very disciplined.  Writing every day is essential to complete a task such as this.

I’ve also started work on an “Exorcist” style thriller for a client.  The planning is done, I start writing scenes today!

Finally, I’ve been kept busy with a script analysis and a translation/proofreading job.  What I enjoy about these assignments is the opportunity to read different scripts from around the world.

February:

I was in Berlin for the Berlin Film Festival (The Berlinale) in mid-February.  It’s a fantastic networking event, and along with Cannes, the best place in Europe to do business.  While I was there I was able to make some great contacts, find an entertainment attorney and a casting director for two projects, and attract considerable interest in “Rabid” from sales agents.  You can check out my new projects at:

March:

As a result of contacts made in Berlin, another project, a comedy called “Fix and Flip” has suddenly gone into high gear with a director and producer attached.  We’re scheduled to shoot in August/September.

I’ve also been pitching a Hollywood producer and director for a writing assignment.  It’s a protracted process – everything in this business takes longer than you expect – but I’m hoping to hear some good news soon.
